Colleen completed both a bachelor of arts and science (BASc.) and Masters of Health Science (MHSc.) in Nutrition Communications at Ryerson University in Toronto, Ontario.

She then completed a dietetic internship in a hospital setting where she launched her career as a Registered Dietitian, staying on as a staff member. She gained clinical experience in the hospital setting working with patients living with cancer, undergoing surgery, struggling with gastrointestinal disorders and/or facing other acute health issues.

She moved on from her clinical experience to gain ‘food knowledge’ while working as a retail dietitian. This allowed her to combine the health science world of nutrition with her love of sharing food knowledge and skills: an all-star combo!

She now divides her time between working with clients one-on-one, advocating for the future of dietetics and teaching nutrition at an Ontario college to the next generation of health professionals. The variety in Colleen’s career has made her a well balanced Dietitian and nutrition coach.

Hi! My name is Wil and I graduated from the Sutherland-Chan School of Massage Therapy in 2015. Through my years of experience I have worked as a massage therapist in luxurious spas, high performance sports injury clinics, motor vehicle accident rehabilitation facilities, senior homes, pregnancy clinics and even with the Toronto Marlies Hockey Club during their 2015 season.

My accumulated knowledge has taught me to apply and combine different techniques when necessary in all of my treatments. Such techniques that I apply are Swedish Massage relaxation, Tui Na which is ancient form of chinese deep tissue massage that follows the natural flow of the meridian lines in our body, Shiatsu which is an ancient japanese massage technique very similar to Tui Na principles, Cupping which was famously utilized by US olympian Michael Phelps, Joint Manipulation manual sports therapy, lymphatic drainage and facial massage for stress and headache relief.

Being a mixed martial arts practitioner myself I understand many different pain conditions and ailments experienced during many sports activities…because I suffered through many injuries myself! I have treated many high performance athletes that have told me my sports massage therapy targets well on their problematic areas combined with lessons on home rehabilitation exercise and stretching techniques that returned them to action safely.

Stress, Anxiety and depression can manifest itself as physical pain without us even knowing it. We may think our back pain might be caused by a specific activity, when it could actually be the stress of our jobs and responsibilities that cause us to react physically to cope with these arrests of emotion. My treatments are versatile in order to adjust and provide not only physical comfort, but also emotional and mental. Whatever your ailment may be, let’s talk and plan! Looking forward to seeing you!
